I was going to have someone engrave two G43 slides with Latin phrases for my two daughters, but this was less expensive and allows the pistols to keep their original slides in factory condition. If they choose to sell their pistols at some point in the future, they can just remove the backplate, replace it with the original, and sell it.
This is my third backplate from MILSPIN (the first was psalm 82:4 for a G19). That first one is flawless, but the characters are minuscule and difficult to read (for these aging eyes, anyway).
The secret turned out to be keeping the character count low. You can get 4 lines, and if you keep each line to 10 or 11 characters, the result is very legible.
I'm absolutely thrilled with these backplates, and will likely order more. I'm very picky about what I put on my blasters, but these are rock solid, and better than the OEM versions.
