Milspin Bin Laden Pink Mist Glock Slide Plate

This is the second slideplate I have bought from Milspin . The first was a US Army Retired slideplate for my Dad's Glock 17. He loved it. Since then, my Dad has passed and he had given me his Glock 17 6 months before he passed because it was too heavy for him, so we got him a small .38 hammerless revolver. I'm a Veteran, but only served 9 years, so the slideplate currently installed wasn't appropriate any longer. So, on 9/11 I get an email from Milspin saying they are having a one-day sale. I jumped on the website and saw this jewel and snapped it up., In 2006 I reenlisted in the Army after a 20 year break, mostly because I wanted to deploy to do my part after 9/11. Deploy I did, Iraq & Afghanistan both. I can tell you the day we heard the news Osama Bin Laden was dead was a great day! After the carnage he caused on 9/11 the only justice worth having was taking him out. My Dad and I talked about him often, and had my Dad been younger he would have went back in himself. This is the perfect addition to a handgun I would gladly give up to have my Dad back. I feel like he would approve, and had it been available while he was still alive, he would have loved it just as much as I do. Ordered on 9/11, and I received it yesterday 9/17. 6 days turnaround isn't bad considering it hadn't been made yet and had to travel from Ohio to central Texas. Once again a happy customer, and will buy again I'm sure. Thank You for a great product. So simple, but such a great addition to an already great gun.
